Bad work done in Metal Workshop

We have been making metal chairs in the metal workshop. Today we realized that almost 15 of them have been mistaken and they have to be rectified. We hold supervisor of  the workshop responsible for such bad work. It is not the first time that he has failed to check on the works. This is no other than Kombo. It is sad that we have to undergo loss in terms of material and time because of his failure to follow the works.

In the afternoon the Rector attended KAVA meeting at Our Lady of Assumption. The meeting was called in order to prepare for Vocation Sunday, this Sunday on 28/04/2012. The meeting was well attended.

Checking on Dodge

Our Colonel, who wants to buy the bus, came with his mechanic to check on tappet setting of the bus. They are all set well and bus is functional. The issue here is the amount he wants to buy it. He is speaking of Kshs 300,000, which is a throw away price.

Community is continue well with Form 4 studies continuing with their studies. Workshops still have a lot of work but all is in order. The Instructors from Kitui are still training in our workshops. It is sad to note that they know very little of what they are supposed to teach to their trainees. Even cutting a piece of metal straight is difficult for them.
